Game Jams

Dogtective

Game Jam
Train Jam 2017

Theme
Unexpected Anticipation

Descrtiption
I had an idea for a game that was about solving a murder before it took place. I pitched this idea to a group of 300 people, and suddenly we had a lot of interest in it. I mainly did the initial game design, UI, and the interior of the cabins, as well as managing the whole team and making sure everyone knew what they were doing.

We decided to go for a black and white look for the film noir aspect, but also because you are playing a dog.

A Potion for the Queen

Game Jam
Train Jam 2017

Theme
Unexpected Anticipation

Descrtiption
With about 24 hours to go on the train, I decided to work on a completely new game in conjunction with Dogtective. I designed the game and created all the art assets. While we got the basic functionality and logic completed, unfortunately my programmer did not have the time to finish or upload the game.
Feed the Baby

Game Jam
Ludum Dare 34 (2015)

Theme
Growing

Descrtiption
This was my first time participating in Ludum Dare – we made Feed the Baby in 48 hours. Unfortunately we didn't have the whole three days dedicated to this game, as we had double booked that weekend with another event. If we had a little more time, I would have loved to polish the artwork and balance the game more.

Description

A Game Jam is when a group of people get together and make a game from start to finish. Usually this has a very constrained time frame, and the theme for the jam is only announced on the day it starts.

This is a collection of screenshots for game jams that I have been involved in.
